seo white labelI am an experienced IS professional and accountant (FCPA of CPA Australia) with twenty years of experience in the area of IS consulting. This experience and career includes the evaluation of IS projects, IS audit and IT management and governance. My published research is in the areas of the use of intelligent decision aids, Information Systems (IS) audit, and Information Technology (IT) governance. Prior to receiving my PhD, I chaired the IT & Management Centre of Excellence for CPA Australia. Professionally, I am a Fellow of CPA Australia, and I have been at this game a long time – I was awarded the President’s Award for contributions to the management of information systems in 2004.
RESEARCH
I focus on the use and role of intelligent technologies in the audit and governance of information, and their pedagogical implications in that context.
TEACHING
I teach into the University of Queensland Master of Business Administration, Master of Business, and Master of Commerce programs. I teach the ‘IT for Business Value’, ‘Operations Design, and ‘Information Systems Control, Governance and Audit’ courses at the University.
SERVICE AND ENGAGEMENT
I am the Program Leader for the Master of Commerce program. I present and write regularly for CPA Australia.
